▼ On Windows 10, you can make color of taskbar background more “transparent”. First, click Windows Settings > 1personalization as below.
▼ In 1Colors tab, set Transparency effects toggle button to 2On to make the color of taskbar background transparent.
▼ ”Task Manager” window overlapped with the task bar below, but, it is impossible to raise the transmittance any more. It is like a semitransparent cloudy glass.
▼ It’s feel like a 1dark transparency somewhere.
You can do some work to increase the transparency here. By setting the registry information, you can create a more transparent background.
Increasing transparency ~ Registry editor
▼ Press 1regedit in the text field, and click 2 button.key and open Run. Enter
▼ User Account Control(UAC) appears to allow you to run the Registry Editor. Click 1 button.
▼ Registry Editor window opens. First, if you are currently logged in, navigate to the path below.
▼ In the right pane of Advanced key, click 1New > DWORD(32-bit) Value to create a new value.
▼ Rename new value to 1UseOLEDTaskbarTransparency.
▼ Double-click1UseOLEDTaskbarTransparency value, and set2Value data to 1, click 3 button.
▼ The result is as follows. Now, close the registry editor.
Restarting with Task Manager
To check the results, You need to reflect the registry values set up above on your pc. The result of above registry setting can be done by restarting PC or signing out, but it is quite cumbersome.
▼ As a simpler method, the result will be reflected by restarting the explorer in task manager. First, after running 1Windows File Explorer, and then pressing key, click 2Task Manager.
▼ After starting “Task Manager”, in Process tab, 1Right-click on “Windows File Explorer” and click2Restart.
▼ Windows desktop is refreshed for a moment and the transparency of task bar is updated as follows. As a result, It became a more transparent task bar than before. Check Before and After as below.
