We will introduce sending and receiving the data between smartphone and PC. The Bluetooth function must be set to “ON” each other. First, send a file to smartphone from PC.
Starting Bluetooth on PC
Click
, and click 1 Settings.
▼ On Windows Settings, click 1Devices.

▼ Click 1Bluetooth in “Devices” setting. PC is currently connected to smartphone(here, Xperia Z2) via Bluetooth.

Bluetooth Options
This will open the Bluetooth settings window. Let’s see the Bluetooth options.

▲ At the Discovery section, 1Allow Bluetooth devices to find ths PC ( Bluetooth devices will see the name of this PC.):Check this option.
After checking, if you try to connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth, the PC name is detected on Bluetooth setting of smartphone.

▼ On the Bluetooth Settings, click 1Send or receive files via Bluetooth.

▼ This will opens “Bluetooth File Transfer” window. Make sure that Smartphone is ready to receive files., and c;ick 1Send files.

Getting started in the notification area
▼ In addition to starting the file transfer as above, click Bluetooth icon > 1Send a File.

Specify the device receiving the file
▼ Select the 1Smartphone device to receive a file, click 2
button.
Select files to transfer
▼ Select a file to transfer to your smartphone. Click 11file, then click2 button.

Send a file
▼ 1File transfer starts, but it stops immediately. Here, it is necessary to operate on the smartphone that receive a file.

File transfer failure
▼ After starting File transfer from PC, if the smartphone do not respond and timeout occurs, File transfer will fail, with the message 1Bluetooth file transfer not completed as follows.
Windows was unable to transfer some files.
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
To try again, click the Back arrow.

▼ To properly receive a file to your smartphone, it is necessary to do the following operating.
Receiving a File on smartphone
First, the Bluetooth function of smartphone has to set “ON“.
▼ When sending a file from PC, the message 1Bluetooth:Incoming file: Do you want to receive this file? is displayed on the smartphone screen immediately. Tap the message.

▼ The computer name, file name and file size of PC are displayed. Tap 1ACCEPT. Now the receiving a file on the smartphone is ready.

File transfer on PC
▼ The following Bluetooth File Transfer will start.

▼ After the file transfer is completed, the message “File successfully transferred” is displayed and the contents of the transferred file are displayed together. Click
button.
Receving completed on Smartphone(Android)
▼ As shown below, the smartphone also displays the message 1Recevied complete.

Receive a file
▼ Conversely, this time, try to send files to PC from smartphone. Click Bluetooth icon > 1Receive a File in the notification area.

▼ This will opens “Bluetooth File Transfer” window. You will see the meaasge below.
You should see a file transfer begin as soon as someone starts transmitting files to your computer from their Bluetooth enabled computer or device.
You may see a message telling you a Bluetooth device is trying to connect to your computer. You must accept the connection in order for ther transfer to occur

▼ After selecting a file to transfer from your smartphone to your PC, tap 1 share icon.

▼ Tap 1Bluetooth icon.

▼ Tap 1PC name(Computer name) to transfer a file.

▼ 1File transfer starts as below.

▼ PC also starts receving a File from Smartphone at the same time.

▼ PC displays the message Save the received file. Click 1
button, and select the Location(Folder) to save a file, then click 2 button.
