In Windows 10, you can change the account name that is displayed by specifying Full Name, but the use of both terms user account name and Full Name is confusing.

In fact, Full name is displayed as an account name in conjunction with Full name. If there is no full name, user account name is usually displayed instead. Full name is set as one of the information about the user.

When you register a user account first time, the account name created will be your user folder (C:\Users\username), and changing the folder name is difficult after that, but you can simply change the Full Name with your favorite name.
