Quickly empty the Recycle Bin ~ How to add “Empty Recycle Bin” to Quick Access Toolbar

Recycle Bin on Windows File Explorer is a useful tool for managing deleted files. Usually, “Recycle Bin” is displayed at the 1bottom of navigation pane of File Explorer.

When selecting a file in “Recycle Bin”, “Recycle Bin” icon is embedded 1Manage > 2Empty Recycle Bin option in the ribbon Menu. Clicking it, you can delete a file from “Recycle Bin”

Delete it from anywhere in File Explorer

Using Quick Access Toolbar that embedded into the title bar, you can quickly access and remove contents in Recycle Bin. It is very simple.

Add to Quick Access Toolbar

▼ After clicking on Recycle Bin, and click 1manage” from Menu or press Ctrl+F1 keyboard shortcut. Right-click on 2Empty Recycle Bin option from sub-category and select 3Add to Quick Access Toolbar.

▼ 1Recycle Bin” is now displayed in the Windows File Explorer toolbar as follows.

▼ From now on, without selecting a file in “Recycle Bin”, you can use Quick Access Toolbar option to delete the Recycle Bin’s contents from anywhere.

▼ Selecting “Recycle Bin” and Clicking 2Properties, then the following “Recycle Bin” property will be displayed. You can see Hard Disk Drives in File Explorer.

▼ When selecting the targeted Drive with Don`t move files to Recycle Bin, remove files immediately when deleted Option below, and clicking OK button, it will be completely deleted from PC and can not be restored.

▼ You can also check the 1deleted files individually from 2Properties. By clicking Restore button, targeted stuff will be restored and returned to the location before it was deleted.

Show Recycle Bin below the Ribbon

▼ You can display “Recycle Bin” of “Quick Access Toolbar” below the Ribbon menu. To display Recycle Bin below the ribbon, click the Quick Access Toolbar drop-down 1, and click 2Show Below the Ribbon.

▼  As a result, we moved to display Recycle Bin below the ribbon.
