Similarly, you can register your favorite website in the Google Chrome app on the Start Menu in Windows 10.

You can now open the website directly from the start menu without launching the Chrome browser.





▼ Website is registered under 1Chrome (Beta) Apps and 2Live Tile as shown below.

▼  The shortcut of the WEB site registered on the start menu will be saved in the following storage location.

%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Chrome (Beta) Apps

Let’s register the shortcut of the WEB site on the Start Menu.

Settings in Google Chrome

Let’s start up Google Chrome and register the shortcut of the WEB site in the Start Menu.

▼ First, register your favorite 1Web site on the Windows desktop as shown below.

Click 1 in the Upper-right end of Chrome, and 2More tools > 3Add to desktop….

▼ Fill in the 1title of Web site that you want to add to the desktop, and click 2Add button. Then, the 1Shortcut of Web site is registered on Start Menu.

▼ A shortcut for the WEB site has been registered on the Windows desktop as follows.

Registering a shortcut of WEB site on the Start Screen

▼ As below, 1right-click on the shortcut of WEb site, and click 2Pin to Start

▼ As described below, the 2shortcut of WEB site is registered in the Start Screen.

▼ By clicking 3Pin to taskbar of the context menu on the desktop above, the shortcut is added on the taskbar as show below.

Confirming the location of the shortcut of the WEB site

▼ 1Right-click on the shortcut of WEB site on Start Menu, and click More > 2Open file location.

▼ Or, pressing Windows + R key, and enter the following 1path of storage location, and click 2OK button.

▼ It is displayed in the following storage location.

▼ 1Right-clicking the shortcut of the WEB site on Start screen, and clicking 2Unpin from Start, then it disappears from the live tile.

Deleting the shortcut on the WEB site

▼  Shortcuts of an unnecessary WEB sites are also deleted from the start menu by deleting them by pressing Delete key at the storage location.

Right-clicking the shortcut of the WEB site, Selecting 1Unpin from Start: the shortcut on Start Screen disappears.

2Unpin from taskbar: the shortcut on Taskbar disappears.

▼  After deleting a shortcut by pressing Delete key, or clicking 3Delete button, then singout and singin once. As a results, You can see a missing shortcut of WEB site on Start Menu as show below.
